So you dont even have a carry in to begin with? wow. Yeah I got some random carry in block too. So what happens if bids go through and it thinks we have a couple dozen block? Do we get a small line and lots of day off? Or get stuck with a build up? I dont want the latter....

Default CBT pay

While we're discussing payroll, did anyone get paid the 40 minutes for the Lufthansa CBT?

The one we were supposed to complete in January for the cutover. From BW's email:

"The training will take approximately 40 minutes to accomplish and will be paid accordingly.

The training must be accomplished by January 14th and our LMS administrator will be tracking completion for training purposes and for the submission of completions to payroll."

I didn't see the CBT credit in my January settlement...

That's always there, pretty sure that's the way PBS figures out Part 117 rules.

Default Parking Reimbursment

Anyone else not seeing reimbursment for out of base parking since the change from paper check to direct deposit? Still owe me for reimbursement back through December and of course emails to payroll have gone unanswered...

I was wondering the same, never saw it for Dec/Jan.

Maybe the rumor about Delta buying us has some creditability....

"Comair had the lowest percentage of on-time flights of all major U.S. carriers during late 2006. This was the result of starting operations at JFK, a congested airport with poor staffing and an unfortunate terminal and aircraft ramp layout that severely dropped Comair's ratings in the DOT listings. In 2008, Comair tied with American for the lowest on-time performance, with 70% of its flights arriving on-time.

During the course of 2007, Comair closed down its crew bases in Greensboro, North Carolina and Orlando, Florida."

Comair was a wholy owned for Delta. So maybe they want to buy Compass to wind it down. I know people feel LAX has been a detriment to our performance, maybe LAX is analogous to Comair in JFK. Then again there are other things Comair did which made them fall from grace with Delta, in the grand scheme it's usually not one event which brings a place down.

I want to be positive and think that if there is an announcement from Delta about buying us, it'll be to merge us with Endeavor. Funds from Delta, bases across the country, East to West coast, preferential interview..... The list goes on. At this point in time though only those with a crystal ball can say where the future of Compass will be.
