Reading through sec25-N4 here is what I see a buildup line holder can do.
- you can drop or swap a trip, but you can't drop more than 50% of the what you have.
- add a trip
- swap reserve days with days OFF
- trade reserve days with another buildup pilot or a reserve pilot

So looks like the only way to avoid reserve days with a buildup line is during the. 2 days of SCP. Once they add them to your schedule, your stuck with them. Unless you beg Scheduling or become a PITA and they do what you ask to get rid of you, LOL

Now here is what I saw from the 3 months of build-up line I am on right now. So far during SCP I couldn't add any trip successfully to boost up to 75hours. I have not been bidding any restriction to any layers, not even bidding days off, so any trips remaining on SCP are likely trip that conflicts my awarded pairings already.

About build up line switching to LCR, better check your line award and reserve award to make sure where you at if you go for RSV line, there are senior people (probably 60-70% seniority in base) who can hold a ****ty line but instead they rather bid RSV lines just to be able to hold LCR.

When will your PHX base be opening up? Will it go senior or could a new hire get it right out of training?

The last few months there have only been about 2 or 3 senior FOs that bid reserve in LAX.

Please share all the specific details. Just trying to figure what iocc likes and what works best. I have tried my best and still get denied for silly reasons like i'm not current because i didn't have 3 landings in the last 90 days lol. Seriously iocc? I've just given up all hope now and i'm tired of sending emails and then getting a reply that the trip is gone.

But all jokes aside i'm happy it at least works for some people considered yourself lucky because it doesn't for me!
