must be a millennial thing
What a lazy, over used, and stupid line of reasoning. That’s just like hearing “oh LAX pilots are unprofessional” Just beceause someone was born in a certain year (or picked a certain base) doesn’t dictate their behavior. Just like it always has been, each individual is different. Most guys are cool as could be but there will always be some that are FOM hall monitors. Always have been, always will be. But oh, it must be to so fun for those of us that are 5-10 years older to pass it off as a label applying to whole generation
That said, I agree, reporting stuff like that to standards is absurd.
It also should be said that some CAs here are a little too comfortable in their seat and at times are embarrassingly unprofessional in front of passengers and station crews. Rather than labeling all Generation Y guys as unprofessional jerks that set bad examples, we can be mature enough to say that 99.5% are safe pilots, great guys, and patient/helpful mentors, while maybe that .5% should grow up.
Hope no one takes that as a jab, just an example

was just reading through the PHX welcome packed and noticed that it said "the commuter hotel has a shuttle but there is a fee and that per the policy the company does not have to pay, its the crew members responsibility." just thought I would point it out for potential commuters!

Nice..I still can't submit any vacation bids in Ascension. The option to do so never comes up after clicking "Submit your bid" like it should. What is it with this company using the most defective software they can find? I see a grievance in my future.
Anyway, the pilot went straight to mgmt for that?! Unbelievable. The culture here has really shifted. The hell is going on here?

I’m not here to point fingers but my buddy and a genuine good guy/pilot got snitched on and was pulled off a trip. Call me crazy but looking at him and a lot of others getting the chief pilot talking to it would appear that there is a rift forming in within our group and I for one think it’s creating a problem of trust. Frankly he, I and others have changed how much we really trust the others we are working with. It really is sad, this place was a lot of fun not too long ago. Everyone going to dinner/drinks and sharing funny/embarrassing moments but now it’s slam click and keep your nose clean. As I started with I’m not pointing fingers, but the rumors against one another are getting ridiculous, true or otherwise. From pilots and FAs. I for one really try to shut up anyone who has a damaging rumor they are trying to spread. At the end of the day we are all trying to be better and move on. And CAs, FOs, FAs. If you disagree, please go fly cooperate. As far as the millennial comment. My dude, the old crusty guys who have the same attitude you do are the worst. Believe me. Thinking they are all high and mighty. I query, if they are why are they here?

I've heard that management is on the prowl looking for uniform shenanigans. I've seen a pilot pulled into the Chiefs office because he walked in with a North Face jacket into the crew room. How do I know if it was a uniform issue, because I overheard the pilot talking about it later. Not sure if the pilot was commuting, or off duty, etc..
I also heard they are watching FO's to see if they have their vest on during the walk around. Must be boring around the office or looking for excuses to throw shade on peoples file, so maybe they wont go elsewhere.

Regarding the nf jacket in crew room..we can get in trouble for that? I hang out in the crew room while waiting for my commute with a windbreaker on. I also commute with a windbreaker on, as do countless pilots industry wide. How can this possibly be an issue? I never got any flak for it at my previous regional.
