of course the G550 is awsome, but all things considerd, range, op cost, performance, and price. the CE680 sovereign is unreal. roomy, huge baggage bin, operates out of 3000 ft strips, 3000+ mile range, Honeywell Epic Avionics, and climbs better and has a better second seg climb than anything flying right now in the corp aircraft world

JMACK,

I am happy to hear that you like the 680, it is a great airplane. Like you said it is a great platform for operations off of short strips, and range. I'm curious if there is anything you would change about it?

Sorry everyone didn't mean to "highjack" the thread.

I know cessna will never do it, but sure would be nice to have the tilt panel (knee buster) switches and buttons put on a overhead panel. The tilt panel really limits the knee area for a average height pilot. other than that i am really enjoying it. Perf is unreal, made a turn off 1300 ft down the runway with only a 9 knot headwind just last week.

JMACK,

Actually, the tilt panel is something engineering has been looking at, and they will also be incorporating the tilt panel into the CJ4. The 680 spawned alot of good ideas such as the push button (blue for "on", white for "off") that will also be on the CJ4. I don't think you will ever see overhead switches on any new models though. No doubt about your landing, short field is the name of the game with that airplane!
