As said many times, corporate QOL largely depends on STAFFING.
Having done both, I will take a well staffed Gulfstream/Global/Falcon etc gig over a 2 pilot day trip job anyday. Yes, you will take your turn at the long trips, but its great when the other guys do the next long run and you are home for weeks with 2X the paycheck as an out an back King Air or Citation pilot.
Running one of these planes with 2 pilots sucks, no doubt about it. QOL improves by multiples when you up it to 3+ pilots....full time, not the infamous "we will use contract when needed"...my experience is that seldom works either.

Agree with most of your post but I'm not sure everyone would agree that "there is nothing better for a corporate pilot". I wonder how many of those guys that pilot the large Gulfstreams might (if they could) trade those jobs and their big suitcases for a small emergency overnight bag and a corporate job in a King Air or small Citation. How much of that 100 - 140K a year would that G-IV or G450 (etc) pilot be willing to give up for a job flying a smaller turbine airplane on the more typical "out-and-back" day trips associated with flying that type of equipment? Sorry for the minor thread hi-jack..... just wondering. Spending almost every night at home in your own bed instead of 2 weeks (or more?) away at a time has got to be worth something......
