Default SE turboprop salary?

Does anyone have any information on single-engine turboprop salaries? Also, if anyone has anything to say about the Piper Meridian (relevant that is ), I would appreciate it. I'm looking to either purchasing one or leasing.
Thanks so much

Here in Calf., left seat in a King Air should pay $500/day. If FO is needed/desired $250-300.

Buy one that has the IGW SB if you want to have any kind of reasonable full-fuel useful load.

As for salaries for a Meridian, NBAA 2010 shows SE turboprop captain with an average salary of $63,902 but realistically for the size of aircraft I'd expect $50-60k.

I would think $50k would be about right for a plane like a Meridian... especially if operated single pilot.

I've got about 3.5yrs flying Meridians for a Piper Dist., what do you want to know? Payload isn't the best, full-fuel range is 3hrs(500-700nm) and that'll give you a reserve, but only 500lbs useful load after that on newer planes. 188kias Vno sucks, but is manageable.

As far as Avionics, I'm not a fan of the Meggitt's, but they do the job, Avidyne's aren't bad, but their support used to be horrible, I imagine it's still the same if there's any issues. Upgrades to the S-tec Magic AP are nice so you have an IAS mode. Other than that, standard or WAAS Garmins(if I was buying I'd want the WAAS).

I always felt that the Meridian is a great 500nm airplane, it offers a nice upgrade to folks coming out of piston planes. You get all the amentities of any larger airframe(A/C, FIKI, Pressurization, Turbine), with an airframe that is Super easy to fly.

Anything else, I'll check back

This thread I started for a single Saratoga "captain" might also shed some light on it. I would think the fact a Meridian is a little-bitty turbine should be worth something although truthfully the logic behind pilot salaries defies common sense as far as I am concerned. Whatever the market will bear.

I have a couple hundred hours in the Meridian. High points are nice performance with the deeply flat rated engine, easy operation, nice cabin in the back, good A/C. Low points are minimal headroom for pilots, the ride is bad with the long wing if it is rough at all, not much payload with any fuel, and I never liked the nosewheel steering.
