I agree. That is way too much responsibility for that pay. The fact that they don't realize it is a bad sign.

Since you turned it down how about naming the company? There maybe someone on here that would be interested and it may help them out?

It's listed on the orange website as SIC citation ultra in ELM.
It's for an MSNBC exec I was asked not make public. There is no other way to apply for this position.
The CP seemed very nice, just realize its more then just being a citation SIC otherwise good luck. The job is also ALL weekends and every holiday except Christmas and you MUST relocate to ELM.
Good luck

Chatted with one of ES's pilots in MDW one day after parking next to them. Funny that after all the talking points he isn't willing to pay industry standard wages... I am speculating here a bit

As a matter of fact they were... I was a bit shocked by the pay and the amount of "extra work" I was expected to do.
Would you say I made a good decision on not taking it?

Definitely. It's one thing when they pay you poorly and expect you to do so much extra work without getting compensated. Then you add on top of that an individual that deals in media on a daily basis, and we all know that a lot of people in those media organizations are nothing but primadonna's.

I feel that you made the right decision. Working you like a dog for low pay and adding the additional duties that were not mentioned in the job description (very large red flag).

I know you might feel stuck in a rut in your current position, but hang in there. Something will come along that matches your qualifications and where you can be compensated properly.

Absolutely. This scumbag has been a low baller for years...He represents the worst of the industry and only is able to continue to do so because pilot after pilot is willing to accept subpar wages.

He is a bum, run don't walk...You made the right move.

Don't know anything about the job you turned down other than what's posted here, but thank you for turning it down. These d-bags need to follow their own executive-level advice: you get what you pay for.
