Scariest thing I did in an airplane was fly aboard the ship in the back of the C-2. No windows, facing backwards, and suddenly you trap. Jeeeezus.
BTW - I love flying our CX. But the legroom up front is a little lacking if you're 6' tall or more, especially on long trips.

My office just had a meeting about possible tranistions. I told them that I would go where they wanted me but I wouldn't volunteer for either the Lear60 or CL-605. Our paycheck doesn't change a dime depending on the aircraft (except for per diem opportunity). We'll see what the future holds over the next few months.

I flew the LR-60 and the Citation X and neither have any leg room, I am 6'3" and it was miserable. Now I am on the 747-8 and the -400 with more leg room and not much head room but they both come with a bunk room and a galley full of food.

What's the pay and QOL *of the specific operation*?
Doing .92 between reduced rest overnights 20 days a month would get old, REAL quick.
Also, 91.211 is about as obsolete a reg as exists in the current FARs, and O2 use is one place where the Euro's "progressive" nature makes JAA better than FAA.

Not to argue that pay and QOL aren't important, but I'm flying because I like the adventure. That said, planes do make somewhat of a difference. I like long range stuff that will get me into a 4,000 strip. Love international flying and out of the way airports.

Not to say I don't enjoy it, or flying a fancy hot-performing plane would be cool...but size really doesn't matter if you are paid like a regional FO or on the road 24 of 30 days a month.
If you're flying the C37A in your avatar, I'd surmise your "adventures" far, far surpass those of the average 91/135 pilot.
