I would be all for your rights to expose yourself to COVID, if you weren't a contagion threat to others. Your coworkers. The liquor store clerk where you go to buy your handles of Wild Turkey. The nurse who will try to save your foolish ass when you inevitably come crawling to the hospital. If you could guarantee that you wouldn't expose anyone else, then you have my blessing to go remove yourself from the gene pool in the name of capitalism.

3. I am a little shocked that so many pilots are so foolishly brazen during this crisis. One of the key responsibilities of our jobs is THREAT MANAGEMENT. And ya'll are turning off the radar as you approach a line of thunderstorms.

2. Are you flying empty planes around right now ? If so you are a hypocrite. Oh but it's an essential service??? Well YOU should quit because you are putting your income above the health of others. Sounds like a bad case (that many of you leftist suffer from) "OK FOR ME BUT NOT FOR THEE".. Quit being a Karen. No one is putting anyone's life in danger by going back to work. If you are scared then stay home. If you are working then shut it and quit infringing on people's rights. It is disgusting.

3. I am a little shocked that you actually write a check each month to pay for that student loan. You might can win a spelling bee but you got a bad dose of socialist indoctrination in the process.

Haha nice revisionist history.

Not really. They never were the party of "large government". Maybe you should read up on history a little bit more.

What about being an a$$h013 during a pandemic?

The nurse who will try to save your foolish ass when you inevitably come crawling to the hospital.
As in the craft of said nurse’s chosen profession? I have no sympathy for anyone having to do the job they chose, especially jobs that require professional certification.

You’re also being a virus shamer. It doesn’t matter how the person got the virus (or got fat, or got worse), they are a victim.

Brazen? Turning off the radar? My radar says I can wash my hands, cough into my sleeve (or wear a mask), not shake hands, maintain a healthy lifestyle, self quarantine if I am sick, etc. But I don’t have to cancel the flight.

You are missing the point, not that I don’t agree with you. I think it is overhyped also to an extent way beyond what it should have been. But you are acting like a child who isn’t getting their way. Intimidating other crew members that may have underlying conditions by saying, “no masks on my flight deck” or slamming people because they didn’t get hired at B6 and somehow in your mind you view Frontier or NK as a inferior job. We all are pilots, fly basically the same equipment, make roughly the same amount with lots of outside factors beyond our control. If anyone is acting like a snowflake, it’s you.

It’s not revisionist history, he’s actually correct. The political parties are just shells, the constituencies move around through the years. Rather than focusing on the party names the key is to focus on a constituency like social conservatives. Prior to LBJ, social conservatives were Democrats but since then they’ve become almost exclusively Republicans. Strom Thurmond is a great case in point. We’re in the middle of another major reshuffling of the parties and their constituencies now with Trump’s Republican Party.
