Above 100K for 7 days in a row. This is the first since early April. Lets hope May continues the same trend.
Any good news is good news

I guess my point is it may potentially be a trend. USA is still pretty much on lock-down and "if you go out, do this _____ " orders.
If things relax further, hopefully the trend continues up.

Was in Hong Kong the other day. Still hundreds of planes parked on the taxiways.

It is insignificant is what it is. We need to see gains a whole lot bigger and at a faster rate than that to make a difference. Apparently American agrees with the bombshells they've been drooping over the last couple days.

People just can’t help themselves with their negative BS. The point is, maybe we’ve seen the bottom and are now headed back up. This is good news. Florida beaches are opening, summer around the corner, and now restrictions being lifted. We could be seeing half decent number by midsummer. Everyone I interact with (car mechanic, grocery store clerks, neighbors, etc) is spring loaded and ready to get out and enjoy life again. As long as the country opens, air travel will pick up again.

while I agree that people are ready to travel, the problem is that airlines have permanently parked fleets. AA with the 75, and delta with the MD 88’s. Could be more I don’t know of. But my point is, even if there were 2 million flyers tomorrow, the airlines don’t have the capacity to carry them. Therefore furloughs are all but guaranteed, even if demand returns.

DALPA said in a email last Monday that we were understaffed this summer around 600 pilots.
