People with a BMI over 30 don't appear to be able to produce neutralizing antibodies to the spike.

Link? Is this from one of the vaccines, covid infection, or both?

It says in the graph....."COVID" or "NO COVID".

I think that he is pointing to the fact that people with a BMI greater than 25 but less than 30 who have been infected with the actual virus are on that graph. Vaccine isn't Covid.

A quick search on Google found it -

The majority of SARS-CoV-2-specific antibodies in COVID-19 patients with obesity are autoimmune and not neutralizing

Interesting read - but my background is software and electronics, so I'm pretty far out of my element on this.

That's a great link; if it's correct, every pol and every health care professional should be screaming from the mountaintops: LOSE WEIGHT.

Taking a graph like that out of context with the associated write-up is likely to be misleading... in this case the graph title is not even shown.

I completely agree, which is why I took some time and found the study the graph was pulled from and linked it in my previous post. I put it up here in the hopes that someone smarter than me about these things (maybe you or someone else) might share some thoughts and I could see how close my understanding of the study and results is to yours...

People with obesity need monoclonal antibodies. Also, the epitopes that lead to autoimmune antibodies have been eliminated from the next gen of Covid vaccines.

A new in-vitro study that indicates the spike proteins, whether from the bug OR the injections, impede DNA repair. Discussion section suggests a move away from full spike protein vaccines.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8538446/

Money quote:

In contrast, our data provide valuable details on the involvement of spike protein subunits in DNA damage repair, indicating that full–length spike–based vaccines may inhibit the recombination of V(D)J in B cells, which is also consistent with a recent study that a full–length spike–based vaccine induced lower antibody titers compared to the RBD–based vaccine [28]. This suggests that the use of antigenic epitopes of the spike as a SARS–CoV–2 vaccine might be safer and more efficacious than the full–length spike.
