If you look through the company-specific forums, you'll be able to figure out (or ask) which companies require vaccination for old hires.

At this point, all airlines probably require it for new hires. It would be easier to list any exceptions to that.

Not much point in taking a job now and hoping they don't comply with the federal mandate in six weeks.... probably should wait and see how it plays out in court first.

Honestly that is not what you said, just stating the fact that some airlines do not require the vaccine for new hires. Not looking to argue just pointing out the current facts.

A unionized group might still have a shot if the mandate directly violates the CBA.
FDA approval?? I wasn't aware that any of the shots were FDA approved?? Please tell me where I can get an FDA approved shot in this country? To my knowledge Comirnity is no where to be found here? Everyone that is still thinking Pfizer is fully approved is mistaken I believe. You will be taking the EUA version which has no liability protections.

The guy who posted immediately before you listed the exceptions. What's your point?

Canada is implementing a requirement for all aircrew transiting Canadian airports be vaccinated. Starting with the December-January schedule bid for pilots at UPS you can’t hold a line touching Canada if unvaccinated. The first unchallengeable (in US courts) domino has fallen. It doesn’t matter if you like it or hate it, only truly domestic guys have any chance of avoiding this freight train.

Comirnity is the brand name for the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.

Comirnity and the "Pfizer shot" are literally the exact same thing.

So yes, the "Pfizer shot" is FDA approved, and yes, Comirnity is widely available in the US.
