More for the other super pro vaccine guy here who let us all know he voted Trump. The truth is more often than any of us likes to admit in the middle somewhere. Regardless of believes or party affiliation on any topic.

Infection also contributes to herd immunity, but they don’t mention that. Many who’ve been infected are the ones who don’t see the need.

Until they run out of antibodies...

How convenient you say that it’s your choice now that the vaccine is out. The problem is you probably didn’t care either before, who knows how many you infected. Nobody cares that you survived it, that means nothing, zero to anyone else.

It isn't all about antibody levels which do fade with time, whether induced by natural exposure and recovery or vaccine.

Studies have shown that people with "trained" T-cell immunity to a pathogen can produce antibodies to that pathogen within 12 hours of new exposure. A 2005 study found 32 survivors of the 1918 Spanish Flu. 31 of 32 were found to still have immunity to that strain of flu.

The $64,000 question is effectiveness against mutated strains. And that goes for natural AND vaccine induced immunity.

Looks like airline management is looking to start blowing up some of these covid sick protection Loa’s. Can’t blame them. We have as long as it’s declared a pandemic language but there’s definitely a counter argument with the vaccine available. Probably won’t change anyone’s minds at this point but I wouldn’t plan on the covid sick time protection much longer. You’ll have to burn normal sick.

My company is doing that effective July 1. Take the jab, get an extra PTO day. Don't take the jab and get contact-traced to a positive crewmember or passenger, the quarantine time comes out of your sick bank.
