Remember, it only took 1 person to start the spread of this virus worldwide a year ago. If you think you can kill or stop this with lockdowns, you’re insane.

Apparently, science, peer-reviewed, from one of the top universities doesn’t mean much when it disagrees with your politics.

New Zealand eradicated the virus with a very strict lockdown.

Nothing to do with the fact it’s an island...

Now that I think about it, the day New Zealand reopened they recorded four CV cases.

103 days of strict lockdown. Return of the virus on day 104. On an island.

Hmm. Maybe their lockdown didn’t entirely work.

All it would take is one lingering, asymptomatic case.

Early on I saw videos of the police doing enforced isolation in Wuhan. They took apartment buildings where there were confirmed cases by residents and welded a plate when the doorway used to be. No disease spreading from people living there going out, nor people going in. Of course, no food nor medical care, either. I assume at some point they will cut into the door and go through to remove the bodies of all the residents.

Hard to believe if I had not seen it with my own eyes.
