How did all of us do? With us being in a unique situation our work schedules mostly remaining normal compared to most other professions, but no hotel gyms but also less going out on overnights? I’ve lost muscle but stayed pretty constant. But we also bought a stationary bike.

I had nothing else to do last spring/summer. Lost almost 30 lbs and rode my bike over 3100 miles. I remember early on in the pandemic listening to European Drs. speaking about how overweight were at much higher risk. Helped me to stay motivated during the last 13 months to stay in shape and keep the weight off. Most people I know seem to go the other direction with it. I am fortunate to be able to drive to my base I sat on reserve all summer didn’t fly until August, worked out a ton..

I will say that COVID didn’t have a huge effect on my home life. We don’t eat out much anyway and we have home workout equipment.
When on a trip, I’ve always been a bit of a food packer anyway but I would use the hotel gym. During COVID, instead of the gym, if the weather was nice, I’d go for a long walk outside (I hate running) and if the weather wasn’t so nice, I do stairs in the hotel stairways. That’s really been the only change for me.

With that sense of humor “You must be a joy to fly with”.
