You get called on that (I guess? Still don’t get your point) and your response is to say “well these predictions are hard.” Yet you act like his subsequent predictions are valid and worthy of our unconditional obedience despite all this. Man you want to be right so bad I really believe you will argue anything at this point, no matter how ridiculous.
Are these predictions not hard? Is this not a 100 year event? Is this not a novel virus that we're learning about daily?

You obviously lost the argument because you didn't dare touch my point about how warnings affect outcomes.

Your expectations are so unreasonable that it's clear your objective is to discredit the CDC. Any cautionary announcement is an affront to you. And you'll be ready with the pitchforks if it strays in the slightest.

What was said in February was true at the moment it was said. [/QUOTE]

This thinking guarantees you a future in government or in sales, especially sales in Latin countries. BS artists love that explanation, “I didn’t lie, it was true when I said it, now, not so much.”.

Aren't you the one always boasting about a 29 year career in government?

A bit hypocritical doncha think?

I wonder if you hold your local weatheman to the same standard.

I can see it now.. You're calling your local station on the regular. Full of p*ss and vinegar about your spoiled fishing plans.

Get a grip, Colonel.

Here I thought my trolling was over the top but the defending Fauci schtick takes the cake. I am bested.

These are not complicated concepts to follow. But people are foaming at the the mouth because the predictions don't pan out exactly as they should.

Another thing to consider.. The mitigation after a warning changes the trajectory. And that really sets the knuckledraggers off.
Fauci just predicted that COVID is likely transmitted through internet message boards (new strain). Be seein’ ya.

Uniformed side, very different but you wouldn’t know it.

People generally understand that those who are in their upper 70's with major health conditions through their 90's eventually die. Losing a loved one is always sad. But the world does move on.

I don't. Because I've seen them miss the predictions so bad so many times I disregard them. Hell, the 5 day Hurricane forecast will have a path from SC to TX. It's total BS and useless. I can tell you what a hurricane going to do 6 hours out. Not very helpful. Same as this pandemic and our government.....Lol. Thanks for that analogy. It works well.
