Not necessarily a horrible idea. It was a pretty quite couple of weeks when we got it so we didn't miss out on much. Might better to pick it before it picks you.

I wouldn't want right now, too much going on.

Yup.

Actually covid should ultimately be less problematic than the flu in that regard... many flu breakthroughs are because you didn't get the vaccine cocktail for that particular strain that year, and you may have never had a vaccine for that strain. Flu mutates rapidly and often, so there are a lot of variants out there.

I'm guessing essentially nobody who is reasonably healthy and under age 90 will end up in the ICU if they get covid a second time. Fortunately the really mutated variant looks mild.

Also Yup.

I’m thinking NOFX Two Heebs and a Bean might be fitting for this APC group.

Biden's Covid 19 response head (Andy Slavitt) has said everyone in the world will be getting the virus if you live long enough. There is no escaping it.

Cory Booker and Elizabeth Warren both announcing "breakthrough" cases today, both of which are fully vaccinated (and more). Breakthrough doesn't seem like the proper term at this point.

You're right. Our immune system is really useless.

I’m going about my life normally and so, yes, I expect to get it eventually and that’s ok. But am I going to go to a planned “party” to get it over with? Em, no. But, hey, if you, Drum, Block and a covid positive person want to get together and make out then have at it, no judgement here.

You're right, I look around and it's like the zombie apocalypse. Everyone's barely hanging on. Better get y'alls affairs in order.
