Nothing new, previously identified in other countries. It's rare enough that it falls within normal vaccine safety parameters (it's very rare, and almost everyone recovers quickly), but since it's in a specific demographic and there is an alternative it certainly seems to prudent to direct those people to the alternative.

For my family, I had already concluded that young women should ideally avoid J&J, and young men should avoid moderna.

It seems like it’s only suspended for people under 18. Its not even authorized here for under 18. But they recommend Pfizer instead through age 30. Moderna has a little bit more than 10x mRNA as Pfizer.

so if you apply your logic down line… I guess we don’t take care of fat people, alcoholics, drug addict, HIV as a result of sharing needles, any texters and drivers injured in an accident etc etc etc. Hell! We could open up hospitals with your logic. We’d have so many open beds! Better regulate regulate regulate and mandate mandate mandate. Better cut out pregnancy too. I mean they did it to themselves right?
