"Correct" mask usage would require people to be carrying a massive amount of masks and sanitizer with them on a daily basis;

And have they developed proper masks for the people (non gender pronoun) with beards yet?

That seems to be really hard to understand for some of you.
Incorrect!! It reduces risk of severe illness, hospitalization and or death. It absolutely doesn’t prevent it.

You are too dense to read about those who took the vaccine who have gotten sick, hospitalized and some died.

Keep trying!

Masks don’t work in 80% of the cases, that’s true. Not because the masks don’t work though, because people don’t wear them correctly.

* I just can’t wait for some of you to get your interview/CJO with your destination airline and their newhire vaccination requirement lol.
Maybe we should make a scab list.
I know a few who are really falling on their swords over this. Considering most countries have strict vaccine mandates that will likely only get tighter in the future, I don't see how somebody who isn't vaccinated is hireable anywhere outside of a small regional. Not being vaccinated is a huge logistical issue for international airlines that are private, for-profit companies, and expecting them to accommodate that is a pipe dream. Can't say I care though, just means more spots for me.

Masks are basically like condoms, if you wear ****ty ones, don't wear them correctly, or don't wear them at all, you can't blame the condoms when it burns to pee. The WSJ posted an interesting table about mask protection today:

Says it takes about 15 minutes to get the virus if you're in contact with someone who isn't wearing a mask, and you're not wearing a mask. N95s boost that to about 2.5 hours. Believe it, or don't. Personally, I got boosted, wear N95s, got tested regularly, and flew through the whole pandemic. At this point, I don't think it's just luck that I, nor any of my close family or friends, have caught the virus. But I don't talk about it unless someone asks.

Ok, riddle me this. My family and virtually everyone we associate with haven’t given two ****s about this bug since about May of 2020.
Like never social distancing, literally only wearing a mask when it was under severe duress. Attending full attendance weddings, parties etcetera.
I and my gang haven’t caught it either. Some of my siblings family recently finally did, after nearly two years of complete normal life, and it was basically a flu for a few days.
My one liberal brother who acts like you, masks and wouldn’t show up at any events was the first one to catch it.
Don’t pretend your virtue signals did anything but make your leftist wing stretch further into government overreach.

The goal of vaccination campaigns are to protect those that can't be vaccinated and to reduce the likelihood of a worse variant from developing.

While vaccinated people can still get infected, the vast majority won't. Of the few that do get breakthrough cases, they have milder and shorter cases and therefore have a much smaller risk of transmitting the virus.
I have still yet to meet one of these people who can’t get vaccinated.

It’s because the only effective mask is a properly fitted N95.

If this is true, where are all the cases coming from now? 70% of the population is vaccinated, yet the most important metric of case numbers is higher than before the vaccine were “approved”…how is this possible?

Or if you want a dose of reality, I personally know 11 people right now that are positive for Covid. All have mild or no symptoms and guess what? Every single one is vaccinated.
