7ER LOE Scenarioes
#11
Look through the student dig, look at events in the 402, 403, 404, not all of them are an LOE but it gives you an idea of what an LOE would be looking for you to do. So review the PPTs online for 402-404 and read the back sections of the QRH- that'll help you handle the MEL, flight ops and abnormal that will occur.

There are 3 this cycle:
1. IP takes you and other pilot down to an MD-88 sim, and the two of you spend 2-hours on hold with Crew Tracking trying to figure out what the heck happened.
2. During cockpit preflight, Dispatch sends ACARS that flight is cancelled and you have to sleep in crew lounge.
3. "A" period: First half is normal flight from JFK-BOS with 5 MELs. During the break you get re-routed to DTW, but not until the "D" period.

....and Karnak wins the internet! Absolutely hilarious!
Recurrent is supposed to be driven by ASAP, FOQA, and FCR data.... soooooo, perhaps next cycle??

This is the lamest threat ever. If you need advance notice for recurrent, maybe its time to hang up the spurs. And on a public forum no less. Embarrassing for our company IMHO.

I'm pretty sure this comes out of a professional sense of duty, not need. Are you in the habit of not preparing for a check ride?
