Hey Deltoids,
Do your 7ERs have "Pegasus" FMCs?
Also, how do you guys do the JFK-Moscow flight - just convert ft to meters or is there a switch on the airplane? I ask because we were gonna start the ORD-Moscow route with 767 but they switched it to a 777 due to the lack of metric something-or-other on the 767.
Thanks
fellow AA 7ER pilot
p.s. i'm envious of your electric seats...

I've got to say that those former TWA/AA ETOPS 757's may look nice on the outside, but they are a pain in the butt to fly. 200k FMS, no SATCOM on most, and HF radios that don't go down below 3000 kHz (and no power seats).

Yo Strip,
You guys are spoiled! All of our non-Pegasus birds have the 200K box... s-l-o-w. The only Satcom birds are the Pegasus ones.
None of our planes have electric seats. One more way to stay in shape.
As I mentioned, we should be all Pegasus/flat panel screens by 2010. Makes a world of difference.

Nothing yet.... although I agree with your statement regarding the Greek community in ORD. I know we have the route authority for JFK-ATH from TWA.

There was a rumor that we were going to do this as well, and then make the 767-400 and ER a common category. But then I heard all big spending was on hold pending this merger business. Who knows? I would say "see you in Moscow" but I beleive that you guys are going to one of the other fields. (Sheremeteyvo sp?) where as we go to Domodedovo sp? Either way you'll still be treated to the sometimes 1:45 minute van ride.

Regarding Moscow, you've got it backwards - I believe DAL flies to SVO, whereas we will be flying to DME. I'll see ya there when I bid the 777!
