Upgrade time will stay low for the foreseeable future with retirements increasing. The wide body FO has little incentive to upgrade for a few more dollars and much more work. To go from a few legs a trip to 5 leg days is an adjustment and there is a decent size group that is not interested. I think things will keep moving until there is a slow down in the economy and then the music will slow.

My bid was based on published rates not GS rates.
They didn't offer the option of M88A if X% left unfilled.I'll wager CR goes trolling for M88As on the August cleanup bid. They will get some takers who are willing to jump in on top of the junior reserve dogs, but didn't take a chance bidding a percentage this time around.

I wanna do over if they don't fill the M88A.

No kidding. Trying to read the tea leaves for where the next GS will be is risky business. You could find yourself on perma-reserve with February vacation (per the Hitler gets awarded the maddog video) and never see a GS if you bid M88A in August. Or you could roll thunder and gross well over a half million dollars before PS next year...
