Yup....you got it.
Now, if someone junior to you from your AE is converted before you into the same category, you will start collecting the higher pay rate on the junior pilot's conversion date even though you are in your current category. There will be some B7ER FOs getting paid A320 Capt pay this summer (and probably getting G/S pay at the A320 Capt rate to fly B7ER trips).

Recently had to deal with this myself. This past april.
My training scheduler confirmed that a junior person was converted on the same AE.
Had to call the HR and payroll departments to make sure my pay was going to reflect the pay protection.
They ended up cutting me a manual check because the system did not catch it automatically. If not, I would of have to wait another 4 weeks to get paid correctly.
My point is be proactive and make sure they get it right before hand. Call as many people as it takes. It took me 4 departments to get it right.

Not everyone in positions of authority will know what you're talking about.

Yep - it also took 17 years to hold 737A in LAX last October. In the most recent bid it went to 3 years. From 17 years to 3 years in 7 months! All I can say is keep it coming.

Pilot payroll. Not the payroll number on the check stub. The payroll department at the HQ.
I tried to look up on the name and number for you but my work email has been purged.

John Bell's spreadsheet is very impressive. If the company implementation of the electronic flight plan is anything like the one on his website it will be a revolutionary improvement.
Youngest Delta Captain is 27 years old. It was 44 when the latest hiring wave started. Brave New World.

In January of 2017 I was 44 years old and I know of a guy on the ER with me who was a few years younger than me. He's left since then to go the the 737, but I'd be surprised if back then he was the youngest captain on the property as a 767 captain.
If so, wow.

P.S. Plus, NERD is way younger than me.
