When HKG goes away, I will most likely be bidding reserve exclusively. (I can only hold a line now because of all the senior guys bidding reserve now...) The reserve guarantee will mostly be more than half the regular line holders will get.....

Wisdom and guidance is needed! On the fence as to which way to go. FO, SEA 73 or ER (currently on the 73). Live in base, on the bubble between a line and reserve. I have been leaning heavily on staying put, am I passing up a good opportunity to hop on the ER? The pay bump isn't significant but how about the QOL? Curious to what you all may think, thanks.

I'm thinking the same. Do you think I'm putting myself perpetually at the bottom of the list or will there be a chance of upward movement? Don't get me wrong, reserve from home is great, but I'd at least like the option of a line.

With as much domestic flying that the ER does these days, even in summer, does the relative seniority loss justify getting a few occasional international trips as a line-holder? If you're not in the top 50%, the trip mix looks a lot like the 73N...except you work the weekend, holidays a lots of rede-eyes.and

"Free Beer Tomorrow." We've been hearing that for a decade and a half. However this time it is actually true, barring some series of events. This is a great time to be a younger guy at DAL , and I for one am very happy for all of them (and us slightly older guys too).

Should we let them in at the bottom or hold them in at the top? ALPA's next dilemma. We were against guns until we were for guns, remember? "65 and no more" was heard a lot, a few years back. 60 was a hard number for how many years? Bets on 65?
