That wud seem a given.
Once complaint is lodged idk if the feds are obliged to drop the issue even if boeing relents.
Given the desire to bring value added employment back onshore i doubt the line in alabama will be given up so easily.
The supposed rfp was 100 nb with another 100 options. With or without leveraging to get rid of cs complaint it undoubtedly was going to include some boeing airframes.
Still guessing 60/40 73/320s. With wildcard 76ng bridge airframes.
Happy Thanksgiving all!

I hope Delta doesn't order the 737-MAX 10. Great CASM, but landing that thing would be a challenge with the lowish gear... Regardless, I am hopeful Boeing proceeds with the stubby, twin-aisle 797 - we need more innovation!

It benefits both sides. Bombardier does not have the marketing prowess/contacts that Airbus possesses and the A319NEO has not logged sales. The result is that more CSeries will likely be sold - and that is a very good thing!

Replacement 73 family airframes are almost a given.
Wouldnt be suprised to see a mix or option for some of every max variant in the buy.
The delta data miners obsessive efforts to match equipment and max yields almost demands the model spread in the buy.

Not sure if the RFP decision has actually been made but I believe Boeing was told their best offer needed to be lowered $X amount in order to make their bid competitive in light of the $$ their CSeries challenge cost DL.

I would like DAL to get the Cs ASAP.
I just needed a flight to get home from IAH. I was planning to fly on DAL, then found out they had a CRJ IAH-MSP. AA, my second choice, also had an RJ IAH-ORD. I flew on UAL because they had a 737-900 IAH-ORD. It is somewhat better than the ERJ-145/CRJs. I did notice that it did not have power receptacles, like the AA 737-900s have, and the TV seatback screen was pay per view. I do NOT like flying UAL at all!
I would STRONGLY prefer the Bombadier C, or the E-170/195 family.
