All you ALPA budget experts need to do is attend a Local Council meeting, introduce a resolution, and muster the votes to get it passed.
The ALPA Constitution & By-Laws does not recognize APC posts as Action Items. I know, amazing, right?!?!? :D . |

I never expected much from ALPA, but this "refund" is pathetic. What a joke...obviously its merely a gesture just to say "see, look what we did for you!" $25,000 in dues paid over the last 4 years, and my total refund is a few hundred bucks.
Our dues rate should be lowered....ALPA survived just fine on dues paid during bankruptcy when we were all earning far less. They take in far more now under our current rates. I know they need money to help the pilots of our competitors (LOL), but shouldn't our dues rate be reduced now? |

Only curious, does the 'lower my dues!' crowd also scream just as loudly at their federal, state, and city governments to lower their taxes?
Last I checked my taxes keep going up and I don't see any net better results. |

The refund is welcomed, but pocket change I'll barely notice... dues should be lowered significantly.
