FedEx was NOT against lowering of dues. FedEx WAS against having dues assessed on more components of compensation than other airlines. . |

I never expected much from ALPA, but this "refund" is pathetic. What a joke...obviously its merely a gesture just to say "see, look what we did for you!" $25,000 in dues paid over the last 4 years, and my total refund is a few hundred bucks.
Our dues rate should be lowered....ALPA survived just fine on dues paid during bankruptcy when we were all earning far less. They take in far more now under our current rates. I know they need money to help the pilots of our competitors (LOL), but shouldn't our dues rate be reduced now? Long past time for a top to bottom review. Same fat cats been at the trough for far too long. Why should they fly the line, they have pensions? |
[QUOTE=TonyC;2403990]All you ALPA budget experts need to do is attend a Local Council meeting, introduce a resolution, and muster the votes to get it passed.
The ALPA Constitution & By-Laws does not recognize APC posts as Action Items. I know, amazing, right?!?!? :D Actually the Delta MEC is and has been leading the charge to lower dues. United and others have blocked us. 1% is more than enough. |
