All you ALPA budget experts need to do is attend a Local Council meeting, introduce a resolution, and muster the votes to get it passed.

The ALPA Constitution & By-Laws does not recognize APC posts as Action Items.

I know, amazing, right?!?!?

Our dues rate should be lowered....ALPA survived just fine on dues paid during bankruptcy when we were all earning far less. They take in far more now under our current rates. I know they need money to help the pilots of our competitors (LOL), but shouldn't our dues rate be reduced now?
Was I supposed to get a check or something?

ALPA won't even consider a dues reduction until the BOD meeting sometime in 2018. fwiw. Hopefully FedEx (or was it UAL) will jump us by then and not object to the reduction.

Indeed, it requires BOD approval. Do you suppose that happens out of the blue?

Your Status Reps are BOD members. Want a voice? Start at the Local Council.

*****ing on APC won't steer the BOD.

Only curious, does the 'lower my dues!' crowd also scream just as loudly at their federal, state, and city governments to lower their taxes?

Last I checked my taxes keep going up and I don't see any net better results.

Don't feed the troll. He's jealous Delta (or any ALPA carrier) would not hire him.

My unscientific survey shows people that ***** the loudest about taxes dont have a very deep understanding about the rates they pay. Until the rate is zero there will be complaining.

Absolutely replenish it. And while we're doing that, trim the fat in Herndon.

Then head east and do likewise on the other side of the Potomac.

MAGA!

The refund is welcomed, but pocket change I'll barely notice... dues should be lowered significantly.

Dues lowering made it to national not long ago... your airline was a factor in poo-pooing the lowering of dues.

That is not okay at all.
