The interview appointment is the only problem. (Anywhere from drop in to one week, depending on location.) The rest is pretty quick for Gob'mint work. Best deal ever. No more pulling out your bath-tme rubber duckey.

You can sort of "shop" around to see when different locations have interviews available. Some are booked out pretty far and other less busy locations may have slots open next week. I was based in ANC and did mine there prior to a trip. The schedule was pretty much wide open, but my home airport was backed up for weeks.

Crew line is going away in Atlanta. Mobile pass will still work but you have to get in line with all the other mobile pass folks. I'm doing Havana in a few days, I'll post back on the no crew line experience.

It took me 5 months to get an appointment in Denver. I wore a tee shirt and jeans. The "interview" is simply a couple of comments about how to use the system.
