Default Reroute Pay

First time getting this....shoes under reroute pay on the time card but isn’t added to the credit. Does it just show up on your paycheck? The trip is already closed out. Thanks in advance.

If the airport is closed for WX you would not receive reroute pay at all. You would get all normal duty rigs however they would show up as credit.

That happened to me once. We only got the extra 5:15 for the extra day. In my case the flight didn’t cancel, just delayed enough for us to time out. Reroute pay showed up on the time card then went back to 0 after the audit. I checked with Alpa and yes....weather.

Is reroute pay 2X (like a GS?) or just hourly rate? Thanks

That needs to change in the new contract. Losing a day off for 5:15 is not worth it...now 10:30, is a different story.

It is paid in addition to your pay for the trip. The hours you see under reroute pay on your time card will be added to any other pay you receive. (Single pay, no credit)
