I doubt they offer CNN a discount, because it would be pretty hard to justify penalizing the NRA for being divisive and maintaining a relationship with CNN.

Whether you're a fan or not, CNN is no longer news. It's divisive Democrat partisanship cheerleading that is at least as divisive as the NRA.

I’m not a fan of guns, but delta got what they deserved. Being PC finally backfired.

Just read in a USAToday article that only 13 people ever bought a ticket under the NRA discount.

Doing the right thing is not necessarily PC - Good on Delta for doing the right thing and not letting the local GA politicians intimidate them.

A lot of people talk about rights. Freedoms. Big government. States rights. Etc etc. The very foundation of why we are all sooooo goddam lucky to be born here. But can you not see this is extortion by a government body to force our airlines to publicly believe what THEY believe???

Delta is a private company. Within the bounds of the law they should be able to say and do anything they want free from tyranny of government. If it’s such a big deal, the public won’t ride on their planes and they will go bankrupt. But that is for the market to decide, NOT government.

All you witnessed here today is public officials crapping on deltas 1st amendment. The very thing you retards with a million guns cry about. The hypocrisy of raving about second amendment rights while simultaneously jumping for joy as delta is punished for the 1st is disgusting. Shame on you.

What if this happened with chick fil lays public discrimination against lgbt. Would you cry havoc? Or do the amendments only mean something to you when it fits your own beliefs. This infringes on all our rights, and it should scare you.
Well said minus the name calling. But I 100% agree with the sentiment.

How is that the right thing? Just a publicity stunt to show everyone how pc they are. They could of canceled the program quietly but wanted the world to know. The school shooter would of never been allowed to buy a gun if the fbi and the authorities did their jobs. Instead everyone is doing a witch hunt on a gun organization.

However my problem with the NRA is that it’s morphed into an almost entirely political organization that absolutely owns the Republican Party. Neither party should be beholden to a special interest group. Probably pie in the sky on my part as I see know way out of it unless special interest and soft money get eliminated from the process. Applies to both sides of the aisle.
This is absolutely the issue at hand.

GA lawmakers just proved that good policy is not possible when special interests are involved.

What does the NRA have to do with Jet A taxes? Absolutely nothing. But Republicans took it as a personal attack and responded emotionally.
