Quick question regarding GS notification while on a rotation. If “acknowledge when on duty or in sim” is checked and you are on a rotation but at rest, do you still need to be in a position to accept the GS or should it automatically be awarded? I realize rest isn’t duty but just wanted to be certain.

If you say yes to that option, and a GS comes up on your line, anytime you can’t legally be contacted by the company but would still be legal for said GS it will be awarded to you. So yes, if you are in rest but are legal for the trip they should award it without contact if you have that box checked.

I think the box is exactly what it says. You are actually flying or in the sim.

I’ve actually been paid assignment pay over Scheds assuming that the box included my layover time & then never taking the trip off my line. Called them about 4 hours prior to report to tell them they had incorrectly awarded. Supervisor tried to make “on duty” into “anytime you have a duty to delta”. Sailingfun’s interpretation was same as mine & union’s (at least a year ago) & I was paid extra after flying. (Fly first/grieve later).

Does anyone know how to reset their password? I got logged out when I updated my phone. Now I can’t get back in with all the combinations I have tried. Or at the very least who should I call to reset it. Sorry if this was previously answered. The fact I have to come here to ask is one more problem with the rollout of this thing.

First ever dealing with ARCOS and first ever GS.
I got call and app push notification that there were 5 x GS for my category. I chose the ones I was interested in and rank ordered them and then submitted.
About 6-9 minutes later, i again got a call and app push notice telling me which rotation I was awarded.
Seemed to work as advertised.

Did you respond to the Arcos call? My understanding is that layover time isn't duty and you still have to respond.

Had my cell off on international layover, saw the ARCOS app callout later. I have a feeling you’re correct on the duty vs rest during rotation but couldn’t find a definitive answer in any docs I’ve perused.
