I did call CS recently to get clarification on another GS bypass and spoke with one of the nastiest b*tches I’ve ever spoken to at CS in my life. Totally rude and condescending before I had even asked about the process. Zero help and left me angrier then I’ve been in a long time.
She snarled that i was over in block hours but when i checked my block hours flown I couldn’t see any conflict or anything close to a 117 violation in any of the categories.
No more calls to CS for me. That experience was the worst.

Some schedulers do get upset when a pilot does not check the trip in the rules auditor before calling.

I️ have been one who was in favor of the ARCOS concept. I️ got a call recently around 1:30 AM. Checked open time on my phone ... no such trip. Got out of bed, went to computer. Found out trip was awarded out of base 4 minutes after I️ got the call. (I️ never got 10 minutes to respond). Took screen shots. Went to bed. Next day I️ called CS. 4 phone calls later, got paid over 29 hours for getting bypassed. Still like the idea of ARCOS, but like most things IT related at Delta, it still has issues. Watch carefully for being bypassed, it is happening.

Chalk me up as another one who got paid (single pay) for a GS that was missed due to a ARCOS snafu. I think I actually like this program. I'll take getting pay to NOT fly a trip.

This is the hidden gem in ARCOS. The more it costs Delta, the sooner it will get fixed. Maybe we should all have blanket GS and go fishing for freebies.

How quickly did you get the pay? ALPA told me the backlog for scheduling issues is 120 days.

Last time I got missed for a green slip, I got the single pay 3 years and 3 months later. Just put in a blanket greenslip. I’m off every weekend and now fishing for free pay. Didn’t realize ARCOS was this messed up.

Yikes. To be fair, my issue was scheduler-induced and not really due to ARCOS. But I found out about it because the hoopla around ARCOS was making me pay attention to what was transpiring on that specific day.

Dramarama...
And now that the ARCOS rollout has gone as smoothly as a square wheel we have all the drama, firings, letters, and recriminations from our ALPA reps.
I know anything new has growing pains but am still surprised we agreed to this in C2015 without any specific language knowing that the company would exploit any grey area to its own benefit. Then, agreeing to let it be rolled out during the busiest flying period of the year? Now our MEC thinks we need specific language. Talk about skating to where the puck has been. Sheesh.
