He gave me permission to post it. I specifically asked about the contact info too, he said leave it.

Denny,
We generally agree on most of the issues you are talking about. JV Scope is huge and I dont disagree that there we overextended at our helping hand at times. I guess it is “everything in life in balance” (whatever that saying is) as I also don’t want 500 greivances on the books because we can’t solve a simple problem. Can you imagine if every scheduling disagreement went to grievance and we had to wait a year to get paid 23l4 or similar?
I will also say with regards to the JV “wanting and getting” are 2 different things. We have to figure out a way to get a deal, not any deal, but absent one we can complain all day long about what flying should be ours, but AM can be growing and we will be stagnant falling back on the min block hour provision. All I saying is that this is not a situation where “as long as it takes” works in our favor.. there is no retro when it comes to flying.
EI is Executive Inactive. I witnessed the debate on this in person. It came up multiple times, but when implemented against SD it was strictly out of anger and had zero to do with the current “reasoning.” Now it has been expanded to other under the guise of “everybody else is doing it” but in reality it is nothing more than a feel good move and actually has consequences. If you have ever had to go to bat for a pilot at the highest levels, you would understand why.
As far as the reps behavior in front of the CEO, I have seen, let’s just call it “less than professional” in the past, but I am speaking now about one of the C44 reps who I did not witness, but who has already admitted as such. I prefer that out reps act professionally, that doesn’t mean they should be aggressive, but do it in a professional manner.

If you look closely, there are 2 "of"s in the retirement section. I didn't want a typo going out to everyone, so as soon as ALPA national fires the corrected version of it out, you'll be getting the email version.
Edit: My letter is out to the email masses as of 1402.
