Comparing any of our retirement situations to "most people's" should indeed put this in perspective. Many Delta pilots got eff'd and then recovered nicely. A staggering percentage of humanity lives in a continual state of "eff'd" and won't ever recover... although they'll definitely maintain their "quality of life" until their death!

What are you trying to accomplish here? Our sympathy isn't going to get you back the money you were promised. We know what happened and want nothing to do with deferred compensation or agreements to pay us in the future.
