This is the post I responded to. There is absolutely no reason to make such a chauvinist pig comment about FAs and then in the same post attack a pilot group. If ya'll can't handle alittle push back on that and can only dish and not take then that really just proves my point.
You might want to consider a less thin-skinned approach to jests, aspersions, and insults if you really do want to move from SkyWest to a mainline carrier. You aren’t exactly in a leveraged bargaining position, knowledge or professional, especially if you’re asking about trip mix in a specific base. You should probably already know that the answer to most questions like this will almost always be, “It depends.” Base, fleet, seniority, fickle nature of marketing and network planning, plus the choices of the 14,000+ pilots senior to you will all influence the answer. If anyone could accurately answer your question without a detailed analysis of all the variables, they ought to run for the position of the almighty. Perhaps you could learn more by listening more and talking less. Drill through a few hundred pages of this forum and see what the pilots say amongst themselves, without being asked, and then see about talking to someone on the inside that you actually know and see how what you learned matches with their perception. Good luck.

We arent the borg dude. Just because one guy on a web board makes a crack doesn't mean we're all saying it.

I know plenty of regional pilots that hate other regionals. This aint mainline or a delta attitude, some of the crap I heard supplemental guys said about regionals made me angry but i dont hate them as a group.

I don't hate Delta as a group either. I know its probably the tiny minority But there definitely seems to be a culture of hatred of regional pilots at Delta moreso than other carriers in my personal experience. I can't tell you how many instances there have been whether reading these forums or asking for jumpseat rides anytime I've heard of a regional pilot being slammed down its usually by Delta. Even just walking through the terminal and smiling and saying hi more times than not they just glare. And I'm just tired of it. The AA & Southwest pilots however have ALWAYS treated me like an equal and with upmost respect and I've never heard of anyone having issues with them before either. Not to say it hasn't happened but I wish that could be the standard.

As someone actually in the culture, there’s no culture of hating regional pilots. You were right to be upset about that original post, but now you’ve stepped down into the mud with him/her.

I appreciate your viewpoint. I'm not afraid to admit when I'm wrong. I did step way lower than I should have and I apologize for it.

It's about trip mix. Whether you're laying over in Manila, Bangkok, Rio or Kiev, you won't hear those girls talking smack about who is a virgin. Trip mix.
