Looked like pretty decent movement for such a small bid. SLC 220A went slightly junior. Next AE is going to be crazy

Quick glance all i saw was 22.F.11 and i don’t see seat lock mentioned. I’d wait for contract admin to get back to you since they would be the experts here. Did they provide a PWA reference that you wouldnt have a seat lock when they canceled your displacement?

After discussing options with Flight Operations and Crew Resources Leaders, we believe that the best decision to staff the incremental M88 aircraft time is to utilize Section 22 F. 15. of the PWA (below) to partially cancel the MDs and VDs of unconverted pilots to retain 60 crews on the M88 fleet. 15. If, prior to the conversion date, a posting of multiple VDs or MDs for the same category is partially canceled, such cancellations will be proffered and then assigned in the following order: a. proffered in seniority order among pilots who hold MDs, b. proffered in seniority order among pilots who hold VDs, c. assigned in seniority order among pilots who hold MDs, d. assigned in inverse seniority order among pilots who hold VDs. The positions that those pilots were awarded will be added to the next AE (likely in Q4, but this may move that AE earlier, potentially to October or Early November). All pilots who accept the proffer or are assigned to the M88 under PWA Section 22. F. 15 will not have a seat lock. |

Now that I’m reading about freezes...
Most of the people I’m aware of in the same boat as me would not be subject to a category freeze anyway because of 22 G. 2. We have all been here greater than 12 months so we would be eligible to bid to another category provided our current category is not available in the desired base. The people I know of in this situation have all been trying desperately to bid out of Atlanta. |
My bet is the system had us seat locked incorrectly and they will have to run the bid again.

You are correct however that there does not seem to be a PWA reference. |

We've had some pretty crazy AEs already. 6 month Captains, 2015 hires into the 330, silly junior Captains in Atlanta, Seniority 3000s into 350A. Just going to get crazier from here. Especially with the international expansion announced today
