Point taken Scoop. I appreciate the insight and constructive criticism. But let me leave you to ponder this. I preferred to punch the bully in the nose when he tried to take my lunch money in the school yard. It worked out a lot better for me than those who ran, tried to reason with him, or just forked it over. But i know we live in PC world and we cant do that anymore. We are all adults blah blah blah. All i ever needed to know i learned in 3rd grade.....keep it simple. Change you can believe in!
Well, the truth is, somehow everyone has some memory of a bully. As if there was one or two kids waking up every morning going down the check list of who hasn't been bullied today, and somehow everyone has that story where they stood up to a bully. Perception is reality to a lot of people, but the line between bullying and standing up for yourself is a weird thin line to the outside observer. Those of you with kids in a neighborhood have seen the good kid go bad because he found out if he throws an elbow, he doesn't get picked on as quickly. Next week he's doing a preemptive strike.
It might be worth letting the reader decide who is outside a normal spectrum. Certainly at least one poster named has some serious credibility issues, and reverses himself comically when reminded of facts. Then 2 weeks later he's on the same tear because there's a missing piece of critical thinking.

Cue Peoloto for announcing the release of 12 of the last 2 AEs.

Well in the case of getting my lunch money stolen in third grade.....you are absolutely right, the physical punch was much more of a deterrent. :)

This is my exact point. If you think words on a web forum will deter someone then you’re the one that really cares too much about web forums.

Yet when I say the words “I want to punch you in your suckhole” I get banned 3 days from the forum 🤷🏼*♂️

Because it's childish, internet tough guy crap. If I were a mod I'd keep screwing with you on purpose until you get figured out how the internet works.

APC treats all threats of violence as a serious matter. A 3-day ban was lenient.
