Default DTW A220 base

I know the company is talking about opening another A220 base. DTW was an original thought. Do we think they値l open a base it seems we have a lot of 220 flying in DTW?

Pick whatever base makes the least sense and that they haven't mentioned at all as a possibility. My money is on BOS...

Not doubtful at all as the 717 will be relegated to ATL-only in the next few years just as the MadDogs have been for their last few years. The 220 will partially fill the DTW 717 void.

But I don't think DTW220 is next. Not needed yet. A year or two perhaps, after a west coast base.

BS said next base was either LAX or SEA...later on in the same video he said definitively it was SEA....I think he let the cat out of the bag there.

Network does change their mind fairly often so time will tell what actually comes out on the AE.

eventually, but not any time soon, there is much more flying out of Seattle to support that than dtw
When the 220-300 really gets up and rolling I might expect dtw to open around then, right now I think they do dtw,Iah,Aus,jfk, lga, bos, ewr out of dtw.
Sometimes base decision isn稚 all about flights though, it痴 about how they make it work with network and rotation construction too, so you never know

It's always the next bid for something. Did they say when? March of 2020?

Look to see where the A220 lays over a lot - that will likely be the next base. That's what happened before the 737 bases like DTW and MSP showed up.
