Qatar owns 10% of LATAM. Wonder how that is going to play out.

Yeah, with the addition of the 350s from this deal and the announced acceleration of A330 NEOs, me thinks the Nov/Dec AE will be pretty nice for WB positions. Potential for a lot of movement.

Do we get a refund?

That's not happening. We need the 777 for ATL-JNB and JFK-BOM. There is less credit time using ATL crews vs LAX crews for JFK-BOM, so you know the logical outcome there. Just be glad we don't codeshare with Virgin Australia. That would be the death of the LAX 777 base.

The Spring 2020 AE would be the soonest AE to watch for. It will be as long as two years to approve the LATAM deal. We may see a few aircraft before then, but the delivery slots start in 2020.

I think it's more of they got the airplanes cheap enough to overlook the things they aren't happy with.

We don't want a refund, we want to sell it. Even after the 10% haircut GOL took in after hours trading, GOL stock is up 300% from July of 2015 when we acquired our stake. We will likely make a profit as we exit our stake. Just go ahead and add it to my check on 2/14.

I read it that we will be taking at least some of the 350s even before all the final signoffs by the government, but I could be wrong.
