I’m in the exclusive UEX, and am fine with DOH. Skywest wants in the exclusive UEX group.

United isn't even putting them in the non-exclusive UAX group, and forcing DOH on other airlines for their priority isn't kosher, so no that doesn't make it all better.

You're right that is what it shows even on the exclusive carrier metal. I was told otherwise by my rep because one of the advantages of this is when they get it integrated into the res system pilots will be able to see where they are in the pecking order. TOC with the one hour prior has been severely abused. Getting rid of TOC will be great for everyone especially the gate agents.

Yes they are, it said by the pic (that I posted) that when SkyWest signs the agreement they are in the non-exclusive group.

It actually has one more level on Ual metal, all use date of hire
1 Ual pilots
2 exclusive - fly only for Ual - xjt, Air Wisconsin....
3 non exclusive - fly for Ual and others - Skywest, Mesa...
4 others

Skywest, republic, and Mesa have not signed on. If they do they will be tier 3, if not tier 4.

On the regionals who have signed the agreement, date of hire is also used and the order is:
1 their pilots on their metal
2 Ual pilots
3 exclusive
4 non exclusive
5 others

A few select people at Republic and Skywest are trying to make this into something big. It isn’t.

They have the option to go in the “non exclusive UAX” group, but they refuse. That is their choice.

What’s wrong with DOH?

UAL and Jumpseats
The agreement which forces them to use date of hire, which is where I have my contention.

DOH is not industry standard for jumpseating and was done to give an advantage to senior pilots. It's one thing for an airline to decide on their own to use it because it is their jumpseat. It is another to force other airlines to use it.

Can Republic and SkyWorst just go away? Endeavor can carry all Delta Connection traffic and all will be good in the world.

Shouldn’t you advocate for all that flying to be flown by mainline?

Not going to happen 100% so might as well give all regional flying to wholly owned and call it a day.
