VB is not bad for everybody. I get that many don't like it, but there are probably just as many that would.

You can already fly to FAR limits.

How does paybanding increase productivity?

ALV + 20 only hastens the inevitable in the summer. Frankly, I think they are already at the efficiency limit on ALV. Edit: I see you were talking about reserve. Still I don't think there would be much gain there. FAR 117 would hurt that, and fatigue calls would go up.

Longer freezes. One could argue that that would abrogate seniority in a sense. With all the retirements, who would bid a category knowing that in 2 years they could upgrade to a higher paying/bigger/better fleet? It would be interesting to see.

At least until "their" virtual base was affected by some other virtual base stealing or a real base stealing back "their" flying.

I doubt it. Pretty sure everybody that bid MCO before it was pulled down thought it was temporary. I could be wrong.

I still maintain that the way it was pulled down was childish and stupid, regardless of the fact that the company didn't follow the rules. It should have been killed before ever being bid if it was so egregious.

The point is moot anyway.

What Hawaii subfleet? Last time I looked HNL birds have the same interiors as the domestic birds.

The first 20 NEOs will be standard configuration and ETOPs.

Then the next deliveries will be non ETOPS but similar to JetBlue and AA’s premium transcon product.

So, technically there will be an ETOPS sub fleet.

if that's the case, I demand that you contact your RCC reps, as well as the ATL reps, on behalf of everyone in SLC, LAX, and SEA, and demand that no ER pilot in either base be allowed to touch Hawaii. Put your money where your mouth is.

Sub fleet makes sense with the naval uniforms.

I have there Slick. Talked to Haney (sorry if I misspelled it) and he confirmed what I already know, and that is that the RCC is toothless. But there is nothing to worry about. I think we get all of 3 trips a month to Hawaii in NYC base.
