Aside from beating you across the head when you walk into the crew room, what else do you want? It has been in emails, weekly updates, required reading memos, on crew room message board, printed and hung in the crew room, and on DeltaNet

Considering the flip phones and aversion to the ipad I have seen from some Captains, the company would have to send smoke signals or notes via carrier pigeon to ensure message was received by the entire seniority list

Then why, if you’re to be rested for the maximum available FDP, do we have to affirm prior to each flight that we’re fit for duty? Why bother with that, or extensions rules & regs? Being held on duty is different than an assigned FDP.

I don't go to crew rooms.

I actually don't want anything, other than asking if there's an app, as I did. If you're saying everyone should already know about a concur app, I'm just telling you I didn't know about it and I don't have hard feelings about it. I've seen plenty of references to Concur but never digested that there's an app. What update discusses the app itself? I generally read the updates. I've made one claim for reimbursement my whole career at Delta... concur articles/posters/messaging just haven't merited my free time to read. Neither does a whole host of issues that I don't think affect me...or which I'll navigate when they become relevant. I scan for the relevant stuff and skip paragraphs about how to update my ipad, reminders that Content Locker is going away, etc. I understand I pay the price to not read every word the company sends me... and APC can efficiently fill the gaps when I have a question. Sorry my query got under your skin. Might you be the Concur project manager?

People act as if we spend our lives in crew rooms. The only thing I see in the crew rooms is the international planning room, otherwise I haven't stepped foot inside of one in a long time.

Prior to Concur I only had one reimbursement and I honestly couldn't tell you if they actually paid it. Since Concur I've needed it twice and it couldn't be easier to see the status and when it's paid out (usually just a few days). It's worth downloading and having it set up. There is plenty of information on Deltanet on how to get it.

We'd never push off the gate if we actually read every word the company puts out. Have you seen the infamous flight plan unfurled pics? Not to mention the "good to know" stuff that's not required reading. Every time my aerodocs app updates it say there are double digit sync changes.
