I can't believe these uniform threads go on so long. Let the FAs do their thing and everyone will be happy. It is not a safety issue.
Honestly, I think it's because a lot of these guys can't stand the fact that they aren't 100% in control of everything that happens at this company.

Actually since the lack of uniform, the fact that they take off the outer layer and choose not to wear wings, ID or any other identifying device, has caused passenger confrontations on two of my international flights in the last month which resulted in paperwork makes it my problem.

Then have fun filling it out. Their management will deal with them.

Why should he have to fill it out in the first place? Oh, I forgot — he must be a “control freak.”

These confrontations are inevitable without uniforms — with wings and ID’s attached.

It’s a temporary situation. I bet flight attendants don’t know we have “illegal” lanyards or there would be a tit for tat paper storm. R E L A X.

Did Delta actually hire you? I get that you must be dating/married to or actually an FA. Your welcome also since I don’t know why you thought you did me a favor.

It's my welcome? Thank you, I guess? And if you paid any attention, you'd know that I'm a pilot here

“Illegal lanyards” aren’t a safety issue and don’t lead to confrontations with passengers — as long as a valid ID is attached.
