Probably the same reason you don’t. It is too complex a subject to get an understanding of from the internet. (The internet is a good source to look up stray stand alone facts. It is a very poor source to try and derive knowledge and understanding from)
A question popped into my head in regards another post. My response was somewhat the same as if we were having a beer at the hotel bar. I didn’t mean to illicit an in depth response any more than I think he meant that something he had come across was all “we” needed to know. I added the qualifier of my lack of knowledge to convey that I didn’t consider my question as something insightful, and possibly even dumb to those who actually do know something about the subject.

Saying the internet is a poor source of understanding is like saying a gun is a poor source of food. Sure, at face value your statement is true. And without some common sense and caution, that gun could even be dangerous. But could you perhaps use a gun along with some training and careful practice to procure food? If you consider "the internet" useful for only looking up stray facts and a "very poor source to derive knowledge and understanding from", I guess I'm left to wonder what sources you would prefer instead?
Also, stay away hotel bars. Far too many ill informed pilot types hanging around.

On the contrary, I find the CDCs and the WHOs public facing websites to be easy to use and to have a wealth of information that is easy to understand without a medical background.

True...but solely as a numerical gain, not as a percentage gain. It's a 26,000 point market. Today's gain (5.08%) is still less than half of two gains achieved in October 2008 in a 9,000 point market (11.08% and 10.88%) which means we would need a 2,800 point gain to be on par with those two jumps. It's all relative.

he didn’t say percentage game . Numerically it was the biggest . Just like Last week had the largest numerically ever... percentages are different but the post was numerically. Just saying

But numerically means little in perspective. It ain't that big and size matters because it pays more. 😁
