I doubt it. Wouldn’t it make sense to estimate the size of the airline for next summer and summer 2022 and go from there? Create a realistic staffing model, put together an early retirement package, offer SILs and then hope & pray for minimal damage to the bottom of the seniority list. I don’t know how liquidity makes any difference. They either needed bodies or they don’t.

There will be at least one more shutdown, especially that this is now seasonal, and is probably going to run concurrent with this year's flu season, which scientists are already saying is going to be very bad.

From talking to some reps, It doesn’t sound likely the early retirements package if any will be anywhere needed to entice many to leave.unless you might have only months to go. Given Deltas track record to date of negotiating.
