These wars were fought as threats to our freedom. A sacrifice of untold comprehension from our present day society. Today we are weak. I fear for when the time comes we have to face a serious threat to our society and our nation. For decades our politicians have been hopelessly divided, our freedoms have been eroded for the sake of "security". Our institutions have been directed back against us as the unforeseen "bogey-man" demands this to be done for our own protection. We have an tragic intoxication with celebrity. None of this bodes well. Is their hope? I think so. You see the majority of us are still righteous. We still question, we are skeptics. We don't effortlessly swallow the pablum the press lays forth for the masses to consume.

So Andy, be prepared for the onslaught from those on this forum that lack critical thought. These same ones will call you out for being narrow minded, a "nut job", a "tinfoil hat conspiracy theorist", yet never want to entertain or discuss an idea or opinion that differs from their own. Rest assured there are however, critical thinkers that do post here, and they will be the ones to engage with.

 

Good gracious some of the posts! The idea isnt to remain in our caves for 1, 2 or even 3 years...good grief. It's to bust the current wave, manage the illnesses we have, buy a little time for therapuedics to vet out as well as good some form of legit vaccines at least in a pseudo deployment stage. Minimize otherwise unnecessary suffering and death. We WILL be fully back at work with Corona still around and making people sick, but let's at least get a few bullets in the gun before we get back to "life as normal." This isnt a rocket science approach!
