I’ve already had a trip in May no-op and they dropped 23k on it. They built May schedules with the flight they knew they’d be operating so how can they declare an IROP? Are we just under one gigantic IROP that circumvents our PWA until there is a vaccine?

717. Including a 2 day that was just 1 leg to OKC on day one and 1 leg back day 2. Don't know how I'm supposed swap or drop to move off days around when they are noop and 23k already. Time to dig into the contract tonight.
edit add
3 trips noop appear to have no changes made to the rotation. 2 trips that are still operational show cancelled legs.

I believe you can put in a recovery slip over days other than your 23k obligation. So just pick up a random 2-day sometime in the month on a RS and specify which trip's 23k it is covering.

You can still swap and drop 23k trips. Just lose the pay.

Here is what happened to a 4 day trip for April. At first a few legs canceled. Then it showed 23 K. I picked up a 2 day recovery slip since I did not want a reserve obligation. This would pay full credit for the four day trip. They then cancelled two legs on the recovery slip. I called crew schedules and got through very quickly asking them to check the rotation for legality. After about 2 minutes of research he agreed it was an illegal double 23K and said he would remove it from my line. He even stressed that I had no obligation anymore for the original 4 day or the 2 day recovery slip - so scheduling does seem to be getting up to speed on the situation.

Originally had 5 day trip with numerous canceled legs. Just got notified that it changed to a 4 day, domicile layover, with completely different turn on last day (EWR). Notes say rotation was rebuilt due to canceled legs. Legal?

Domicile layover Illegal.

Go read MEC COVID Alert 20-09 from 14 April.

Domicle layover are addressed in the Crew Scheduling Errors section.

I swapped into a trip that had cancelled legs, I heard that’s illegal and should be dropped with pay and no recovery. Read that in an ALPA email I believe. I’m I understanding this right?

Tried. Said it would be taken care of. That was a few days ago and it hasn’t been. It’s in a week so I will be patient. I think I saw to call at least 2 hours ahead of time.
