Good times make a soft society and we've had it ridiculously good for a very long time. To the point where we can't even process the downside of what our actions are leading to as we strive for maximum safety, which even if we kind of achieve now, will be reduced even further later anyway.

That's close but not quite correct. It doesn't say anything about high risk or high risk family members. My wife is high risk based on asthma and numerous cases of pneumonia. I'm worried about my exposure and getting her sick and your post had me optimistic that I'd be covered under LOA20-1 but I'm not.
