Well not according to Chad Smith the Negotiating Committee Chairman. I listened to his comments at the beginning of the MEC Town Hall and he says they approached the Company about early retirement similar to AA's and were told the Company isn't interested at this time.....

Hey Denny, I watched the video too and what’s weird is JS (from EB’s town hall yesterday) said when asked about early retirements, we are looking into that and expect to hear more about this in the coming weeks.

Im going to eat moon pies and chug IPA and see if I can't get the old BMI up to paid vacation levels...
